It’s strange because he isn’t known for going when the going gets tough.

I'm struggling to understand Jose at the moment. He seems to be praising the players, but behind the scenes there appears to be suggestion he is disrespecting the players - ie Alli and Bale. I know Jose can be a stubborn fooker. Something about this Bale move don't feel right. Some player politics probably going on in Mourinho's head.

When Jose first took over, Son started to apply himself more in the team, now he looks like a lost sheep, has he gone and changed the tactics to appease someone.

Yeah it’s just gone really sour. I don’t blame Jose for everything that’s gone wrong but he really hasn’t helped himself in some cases. Overplayed too many key players when they could’ve been rested and so now some aren’t performing up to par, whilst he’s also persisted with a bunch of dross instead of giving opportunities to others. It’s why the football’s been so poor for months now.

Maureen really isn't the type of personality you want when things start going pear shaped. He simply isn't the person to lift players when they are down, as he's likely to throw them under a bus to try and deflect blame from himself.
