He would say that though, he's hardly liking to say aye I was bullying the younger players and that's why the boss got rid of me.

Played great today, among the best performances I've seen from him. Couldn't stop putting it on Wyke's head and a class ball to Gooch. He's certainly been a lot stronger than I expected this season given his form in the past.

I dont believe for one minute he was bulling anyone.
Onien was mentioned as one of the players he was bulling, and looking at Oniens personality and physical attributes, he would never allow Aiden to do that to him....
If he had been bulling players, theyd still be issues within the dressing room with him now.

I fully believe it but each to their own. You'd like to think that he'd learned his lesson after being cast out and humbled.

Mcgeadys hardly a Roy Keane or a Scott Brown. I find it very hard to believe he would be able to bully players nevermind do it.

More than one way to bully people mate, I'm not suggesting he was picking people up and throwing them out of the window.

He openly admitted saying to the team vocally that unless they improve their performances theyll never play at a higher level above league 1.
Id be pretty motivated by that if I was one of his team mates.

If he'd really upset and pished players off so much, why have they suddeny forgiven him the moment Parkinson got sacked and we bought a new manager in?

Who says they have? Or maybe he's apologised?

Well if they havent theres no reason why they couldnt have persevered with him all season if they are happy to play with him now.
Basically Parkinson is just a shyte stubborn tw@t that decided he didnt like him, probably didn't like the fact he had an opinion and had experienced football at a higher level than he has to back his opinion up, so he decided to banish him from the first team because Mcgeady could see exactly what was going wrong and how inept Parkinson was and Parkinson probably felt threatened by him.

Thats my opinion anyway. All I see now is a player that is probably the most talented in the league, knowing that we wasted 3 months of football without him while he was made to train with the kids.

Too many stories about him with different players for none of it to be true for me, and I don't in the slightest see Parkinson as the type of manager to do something so bold and controversial without a good reason.

Anyway it's water under the bridge now and he looks like he's back to his best.

If you read my comments from when this thread started mate, i had no opinion at that time whether he'd done anything bad or not, i said Parkinson was cutting his nose off to spite his face. Why just sack one of your best players off and keep giving him a weekly wage? If no one else would have him, then we should have made him earn that wage and also gain as a team by having him in it.

My thoughts about him having nothing more than just an opinion in the dressing room and Parkinson feeling threatened by that, have only came since he was bought back into the first team and was able to speak and back himself up publicly after the way Parkinson made us all feel about him and why he was no longer part of his plans.

Yes i agree. It would be interesting to see how many points we'd have now if he'd have been included since August.
The pass to gooch is what we were missing under Parkinson, was criminal him not playing him, it’s one player you can generally say wants to be here

Yes and he played with an injury when Ross was in charge aswell.
That showed to me how commited he is and how id rather believe his version of events over Mr Personality aka Parkinson

From my point of view if you've got a toxic influence in the squad, and it's at the point where players like O'Nien (allegedly) are considering making a transfer request because of them, you've absolutely got to get rid no matter who they are. It was also (allegedly) Gooch and Hume on the receiving end, some of our best young players.

Also at the time McGeady was in poor shape physically and he wasn't performing on the pitch. I support Parkinson's decision even if he was ****e as a manager in general.

It all depends what and who you believe I suppose.

Today's performance from geads was absolutely brilliant.
Just shows even though he is in the twilight of his career he is quality.
Long may it continue, FTM!
P.s I'm nearly through a £8.99 lol bottle of pinot grigio wine on top.of 3 bacardi and coke so a tiny bit tipsy. I've only got onto wine on the last month. Life feels good tonight

Wine is class but the sooner you’re introduced to red wine and or port the better. Enjoy.
