This QPR forum has been running very slow the last day or 2. Yes, at first I thought it was my wifi, but it's good, everything else is working fine.

Nines! Is something you can try to get sorted.
 
I have had a couple of occasions recently I found it slow and there was a short period when it came up with an error last week.
I just leave it for a while and return later. I guess it must be all those Massive Leeds Utd fans posting how huge their club is that causes the site to overload with their egos.

As you all having no problems, I just checked the wifi speed, ok but perhaps should be better with vpn on, so will give the provider a call. I'm surprised that other web sites I use that I guess are at least as heavy, are working without taking a minute or two to get into the thread or article, as Not606 is for me now.

VPN, if it’s working, will always slow you speeds down, but not the the extent that you really notice it if you’ve got strong WiFi in the first place.

If it’s just Not606 it’s really odd though. Perhaps you are being gently retired, like in Logan’s Run.

Try clearing the cache in your browser, see if that has any effect

I do that before every game on my synked laptop, and on this mobile now too thanks Steels. Anyway calling the wifi providors has led to us getting a new and better router at no extra cost, which is great. Still find this site is slower to open, and especially open long threads even using 5G bang in front of the router, compared to other sites, but it is better now with the new box.

Still very iffy to connect for me, slow at best, despite sitting bang in front of a new router. I just got an error message "host error server 525, SSL handshake failure" I think it said from memory. Every other nett site I open are working quick.
