I'd agree with a lot of that but who knew Ox would become a sick note just when he seemed to be developing nicely, that Naby would be the same, Or that Origi would go backwards?
Matip being unable to keep fit should have been looked at though.

Ox had a history of injuries so he shouldn't have been a shock. Naby had a stellar injury record so its just unfortunate that he is where he is.

Having only 3 centre backs was always a risk - but that's further amplified when two of them are injury prone.

I dont even care about 2nd anymore. Qualifying for CL next season is the priority, and we risk undoing all the good work that we have achieved if we don't qualify.

And you're right - the owners have skimped on spending and that's why Klopp is absolute miracle worker with everything that he has achieved. I get that the owners want to be self sustainable and only spend what the club generates. On paper, it makes a lot of sense. But it puts enormous pressure on people like Edwards and Klopp to get everything 100% right, every time.

2nd is just a paper tiger spot. Utd made great boasts out of 2nd for.mourinho then he was gone.

It is however a lot easier being secure in 2nd not hoping to scrape 4th

If we **** up and end up 6th or worse there consequences will be massive.

we bought an English player who was at Arsenal under Wenger so tbh there was a very high chance of him being a sick note .
Walcott , AOC , Wilshere , Iwobi ,Holding entered as evidence .

there's is with respect a huge difference between Ox having his knee ripped apart in a tackle he flew into and being prone to muscular injuries

I would have expected ox to be a rather expensive sub as a versatile player to come in and run about so his injury issues were not such a big deal.

However as of now he is just nowhere near the ability to trundle about running and closing and making that impact. I just don't see his ability to do the job any more. it is what it is regarding injury.

Klopp needs a guy pressing and sprinting.

As of today keita can't stay fit worth a damn but he can and does do the job required for the short period he's on the park each time :) his stats in interceptions etc are very good.

The old consumer saying of 'not fit for purpose' springs to mind for quite a few of our players especially the ones who can't stay fit.Bloody sick of watching crap players filling in for crocked players or coming on as subs.:mad:

Net spend since Jürgen Klopp brought home a 6th Champions League - £7.43 million.

I'm not saying that we need to spend stupid amounts of money for the sake of it but it really puts the owners to shame when we should be strengthening whilst on top.

An surprised that they didn’t sell tbh....we were never so attractive. They’d have made a killing.
