Just watching the first episode of ‘Incredible Journeys with Simon Reeve’ where he looks back at some of the people he’s met throughout the years. **** me I'm feeling lucky to of been born in the place that I have. The inequality on this planet is truly horrific 2,000 billionaires on the planet that equal the same wealth as the poorest 4 BILLION people in the world.....it’s just plain wrong.
Maybe it would be better to look at people for their worth to society.....one thing this crisis has taught us is that the people far lower down the scale are probably worth more in real terms with their contribution to society. Personally I’d credit a shop worker as having more worth that a hedge fund manager.
I agree with you there mate. I can (if I choose to) earn just as much, if not more than one of my brothers who is a deputy head and speaks 5 other languages. Then again I don't get paid 12 weeks holiday a year!
I used to get this. You work four on four off and get a good pension. Become a firefighter then. See how many Christmas's and bank holiday's you get off. I don't know anyone who earnt less than I did a month. Maybe paramedics? I used to take home less than 2,000 a month. That's pretty ****. The last four off we had already worked nine hours, so it was really five on three off.
But teachings a vocation not a job They don't do it for the money Or so they say as they threaten a strike about money
I can understand why it would grate to be told what’s best for you by someone who used to also be working class. It’s probably much more palatable coming from an Old Etonian.
Oh crap Ed Millibore is on the Marr show. Blimey does he waffle and waffle and waffle... take a breath! Marr mentioned Labours non commitment to things. He was asked if we should have ‘Vaccine passports’ ED: We should be open to this. AM: open is not an answer. Then he asked him another question and the answer was ‘ EM: maybe. AM: Maybe is not committing. Labour has no chance with losers like him or that utter useless shadow cabinet.
Another youth stabbed to death in Kilburn last night.........another 15 year old with terrible injuries. It’s a ****ing war zone
On the bright side his Party aren’t responsible for the collapse of vast swathes of our export industries or the negligence that led to a six figure death toll from a virus on an island, not that they’re courting your vote anyway.
Yes I saw that on the news, another stabbing in Croydon yesterday as well. It's so f*cking depressing, especially for the likes of you who have to deal with the carnage...
