My Dad.... sat all his skippers exams... failed as he couldn't tell red from green.... wonderful man my Dad...My dad was colour blind so he couldn't become an electrician, so he became an engineer instead, he said even though he couldn't see the actual colours of the wires on engines he 'sort of new the difference'![]()

Yes your right forgot about Elder and if Emmanuel plays it's a decent size defence. Keeping it on the floor for the forwards makes a big difference for us.Emmanuel and elder look pretty tall

Explains a lotWhen my dad joined the navy in the war he ended up as a morse operator. He had been sent to train as a gunnery operative but they picked up a slight colour blindness. The test involved picking out colours through pinprick sized holes in a blanket some distance away. As hecsaid not being able to accurately distinguish the colours of small lights miles away would have been somewhat hazardous for someone manning a gun in wartime.
We used to get a friend in bother in art classes who was colour blind when he asked for advice on what paints to use. The art teacher thought he was taking the piss until he found out what the problem was. He has always got girlfriends and now long time partner for advice when shopping for clothes.
