We will only go for a free agent if we have a series of injuries. LJ has said he is happy with squad size and players now
Sturridge still only 31 and been all but retired for years. Although I believe his in form time at Liverpool was just a purple patch, you would still imagine him to be able to do it at top 10 clubs but his loans have produced nothing.
He should have had a much better career than he has. Had all the attributes to be a top striker.
Will Buckley, Anthony Stokes and Ross Wallace all available. Worth a punt?

I think quite a few of our existing players will be on there at the end of this season. We have a lot of out of contract players and I think most of them will be shipped out.

I remember Bony ripping us apart once but probably past his best. Oumar Niasseused to be OK but you have to ask why are they out of contract. If they were doing the business surely they would still be retained.

Don't think it was under Bruce, maybe Di Canio or Poyet. I do remember him being linked to us before he went to Man City and I think Bruce is too early and O'Neil only went after Fletcher and Graham as forwards. But I could be wrong.

The cliff edge at the end of the season with so many players at this level being above salary cap restriction and then out of contract but not good enough for championship, will mean this list is going to be massive next season.
I'd say sign Pato, but then we'd also have to get Zane Banton from St Albans.
