Also Captain Wrong: "It's still happening! Billions and Billions." <confused>

Yeah arbitration started months ago, but the outcome isn't certain.. There's the issue with BEin which is potentially being resolved due to the Saudi Qatar peace settlement and if Demarco proves PIF to be separate from the state it might be done if we stay up..

They should relegate you for being historically ****.

Bad enough the competition being called the 'Champions' League when 75% of the participants were not the champions of their country ... thundercunts <grr>

Hardly surprising. The ECA have been pushing this for years.

Look forward to hearing Pep and Klopp whinge about the extra fixtures.

Anyway, back to the actual thread topic. This is nothing more than the current trough dwellers trying to ensure their snouts stay wedged in it. Doubt it’ll pass PL scrutiny.

If UEFA want to expand the CL and there’ll be additional spots, then they should go on merit, same as they always have.

Simple really.

Hands up all those who want 10 CL group stage games

anyone ?

no !

surely someone out there wants to watch meaningless games against clubs you have never heard of from countries which sound like the perfect scrabble answer .

nah me neither .

... fair enough but the actual 'Champions' from each UEFA country should get a chance to reach the group stage for the actual integrity of the title of the competition ... otherwise evolution is stifled ... who wants to see the same names year after year? ... gets boring as ****

We already do see the same names really.. Maybe one or 2 every decade or more change for like 1 season

"Historic performance"? **** off. Barca and Real must really be struggling with their finances. The ****s.
If Wet Spam finish in the top four and Liverpool don't, then they should be in it and the plastic Scousers shouldn't.
Something tells me they're not going to chuck Forest in there.
Arent Barca struggling with large debt ?

They spent a ton of money on players that haven't worked out and have an enormous wage bill.
Messi leaving would probably help them out on that aspect, but then they've lost Messi.
Got a few crocks that they're lumbered with, too. Umtiti wrecked his career to win the World Cup and now he's finished.

I was reading something about them struggling to pay their players the other day.
Apparently the big Spanish teams pay their squad twice a season and they've missed a payment.
