You haven't toed his line, it seems that is now the only criteria.
He complains about the Mods but thinks his little double act is the way forward.

I have not read through any posts whatsoever on this thread.
Really sorry to lose you, MackemsRule. I think you are a a super regular poster and a great mod (second only to Osca's zookeeper!).
But I deleted my wildcard suggestion in the first vote, which I do regret. This was it:
My vote goes to Psycho.
He is a steady and regular poster (or was on 606). I like his stuff. I would like Psycho to mod this forum, in his own friendly and wacko manner.

Finished the Jura the other day I'm back to my regular 12 year old Glenfiddich.
I shall be replacing the Jura as soon as possible mind lovely tipple.
Got a bottle of Laphroaig, but don't actually like the taste, very cough mixturey if you know what I mean.

I have banned myself from footy forums for the past few days.
I simply do not want to belong to a forum where big_chris and his sentiments are welcomed.
A 3 day ban is worth **** all IMO.
But I have no idea why you feel forced to resign as a Mod. What a waste of a great guy / contributor / mod/

Cheers for whoever it was asked for me, but no danké. I done admin and mod work, amongst other ****e, on a site with a 60k+ membership for the best part of 5 year and i've nee inclination to gan back to it. Besides i sometimes don't get on for days and weeks on end.
If a new one needs picking you've got a fair old selection on here. RAWhitey, welder, 56danny etc. We all know who the relatively normal posters are who have been around for donkeys years and we know who the window lickers and the trolls are.

Aye mate I've done my time in the trenches on other forums too, as sites build, the work for Moderators increases along with it. Moderators don't need to be liked, but in my experience the ones that are like are more respected by the members.
I'm starting to get the feeling some peoples whole experience of forums is BBC606 and think all forums are run like that.
99% of all forums would have died if they were run like the BBC one.
