Went to uni in Lincoln. Similar to York in both appearance and history. Both started as Roman forts that were later captured by the Vikings and turned into medieval trade centres, both have Gothic architecture introduced by the Normans like the castles and cathedrals/minsters. One thing about Lincoln though, it has the highest crack cocaine and heroin addiction rates in the entire UK, overtaking Glasgow.

Interesting to see the supposedly bowling green surface of BP in some of those games. It was worse than the Accrington pitch which supposedly making playing good football impossible. Or maybe City were using the good areas of the pitch they knew like Accrington were according to some.

Both York and Lincoln contain the letter 'o'.

I was hoping Scott would get a start. He hasn't pulled up any trees but he's only 20 and there's definitely a player in there.

Looking at the pitch, I think there could be a few slip ups in this one...

Don't be surprised if either keeper has a cockup, plenty of standing water in those penalty boxes.

This should be compulsory viewing for our strikers before games. Waggy was always in the right place but he scored because he hit the target and kept the ball down.

If the link doesn't work look for Waggy's Highlight reel.

what is this sorcery - how did they all stay on their feet when another player touched them - good to see proper attacking football - passes in front of the man to run onto, crosses finding their man and a forward with an eye for goal - and according to some, the **** served up today is somehow better than it's ever been

Lincoln haven't even named a full bench, they've only got 4 subs.

Was just about to say the same, just been sent a pic of the team sheet from someone there and it only shows them with 4 subs... Have they got an unjust crisis? Or a covid break out? I've not heard anything on either

Modern football is **** tbh but we're stuck with it unfortunately.
