So was Catts, Downing so is Wyke. All put some graft in for us. I don’t dislike Graham cos he’s a Mag just because he hasn’t performed.
Anichebe at Bournemouth was one of my favourite away days ... ... absolutely incredible support and the players responded.
The Bournemouth defenders were bouncing off him to the extent people around me were actually crying with laughter.
Strong as an ox isn't he, never gave the ball away and almost always did something positive with it. This was during Moyes' reign of terror too when both morale and performances were rock bottom.
I was there with one of the lads off here and we were right next to the home supporters ... ... they didn't know what hit them
He kept looking at the away support and grinning ... ... every time the ball went near him he took a massive breath in then launched into them. It was phenomenal.
It's a funny one as looking at his stats on paper he's one of the better keepers in the league but I know where your coming from, he looks very nervous and that showed on Saturday more that ever. The amount of balls that came into the box that he should have been claiming, they weren't whipped in, they were long high balls and I think he should be commanding his box a lot better. The one thing I'm looking at is that we are drawing quite a few games but I do think the new additions will turn those into wins get us promoted and then we can improve the keeper situation in the championship. Or s that me just being optimistic
