I'm sure he does and I'm delighted to hear he got a hat-trick (I think it was an important qualifier?). Thanks for the info.
He had a poor start to his time with us but he showed his character; pace and ability during the run-in. Crucially he offers what none our other strikers do- genuine pace! (not seen enough of Vaughan yet, but after all his knee and leg injuries I expect he would struggle to be as lightning fast as Jackson). Given Lambert's ability to work out a gameplan to surprise and hurt the opposition I don't think it will be long until Jackson gets a start to try to expose a slow defence.
Although he wont be called on as often as Holt/ Morrison/ Vaughan we've been relatively lucky not to have had 2 strikers injured/suspended at the same time. As the season goes on that will happen and when it does being our 4th or 5th best striker wont seem too far down the pecking order.
If Lambert can keep him happy I think he will play a small but crucial part in our campaign.
