"Orient went on to lose the match 1–0, and after winning only one of the next 15 games, both Sitton and Turner were sacked two months later. Orient won just seven of 47 games under the pair." Worked well then, too!
Club for a Fiver. Might have to dig around a bit to find it on YouTube if it’s there at all. There’s Only One Barry Fry is the same sort of thing.
We've been dogshit tbf ... Brentford have grown into the game since they scored and have more intensity than us ... and with 2 giant centre backs they are going to cause us nightmares from every set piece ... can see Brenda taking Amartey off as he's been shocking ... Iheanacho for Under who's limping (and has done little since the first 15 mins)... then swap Barnes to the right and play Perez down the left ...
I used to watch orient every year at home on boxing day if they were playing, my dad's ex wife's dad lenny used to take us. That was when I was a kid tho maybe 8/10
Given Perez played on the right last season I agree with what you say other than leaving Barnes on the left. I think today is going to come back to bite us, I think we’ve neither gone all in or took the opportunity to rest key players.
They do? Lenny was a legend tbh, proper old skool Eastender and an absolute gent, was one of those kids who got sent to family's in the country during the blitz. Him and his bros owned and sold tipperhire if you remember that. Used to send me off with a handshake with a pinky note in it every time I was round and say "get yaself a packet of crisps"
Was good fun back in the days when boxing day was dead for things to do or places open. Not like now.
Yeah this would be another example. Good old Lenny. Salt of the Earth. Did a 15 year stretch for armed robbery but you could leave your front door open with a bloke like Lenny around. I hear ya.
Well, the last one was! I know what you mean, though. It's virtually a normal day now. Lots of shopping and virtually everything's open.
Barry Fry at Barnet, when Stan Flashman was the chairman, what an absolute gold plated double act that pair were.
