Ye, I can see they regularly chat on the phone. I can see they chat so much, that Rafa simultaneously has transformed Dailan into relegation fighters, while Rangers have transformed into a blistering attacking title favourites.

Its all Rafa.

What a div.

You could probably find a similar quote from Carragher, that doesn't mean he didn't share a helicopter ride with him every week and chat.

Those Gerrard quotes are old. He has phoned Rafa up to ask him for advice a number of times. You could also find quotes saying he has more respect for Rafa and his system now than he did back then and could understand why he managed the way he did.

Quote from the same article you read, but chose to omit -

“In terms of structure, in terms of principles: out of possession, how aggressive we want to be. There’s a lot of Rafa Benitez in Rangers performances.”

Interview with Linekar -

"The relationship is totally fine. I can phone him up now and talk to him for half an hour or 45 minutes, the relationship is totally fine and perfect.

Rafa took a recently promoted Dalian and kept them in their division for 2 years, whilst also trying to adjust to the new severely restricted rules in Chinese football. Perhaps read his blogs to get an insight as to what has happened over there, such as the fact he missed the whole of pre season and basically had to manage from his hotel room.

I didn't say Rangers aren't good.

He's never once commented on a game as I recall.

Because I'm not online every day and when I am, the moment has passed. I don't like doing play by play on a forum whilst watching a match either. Some people do, some people don't. It's a bit like people writing on a forum about the TV show they're watching, making comments on everything. I used to be one of those people, but find it much more enjoyable not doing it.
