For common sense and world peace, Biden is the right choice.
Conversely for us here in the UK though, it's probably a BAD thing - Trump, dangerous w@nk3r though he was, loves the UK and wanted to strengthen ties with us. Biden on the other hand is at best indifferent to us and at worst hostile, because he's inherited Irish-American anti-British DNA which seems to get passed down through scores of generations.......

Amazingly enough Joe Biden has English ancestry he is related to William Biden, who is his Great-great-grandfather. William Biden 1787-1849, born Huntingdonshire district, Cambridgeshire, UK who married Mary Elkins in Baltimore, Maryland. USA (1801-1863).

I hated Trump, Biden has been around politics nearly 50 years, I hope he lasts another 4, another old plonker, time for some younger visions.

Well I never knew that.
The press keep 'bigging up' his Irish roots - and he sent us a warning about the Good Friday Agreement too.

Apparently the bust of Churchill has been removed from the oval office already and replaced by one of Cesar Chavez.

Anything to do with the slave trade by any chance? Loved the rendition of Amazing Grace!

Biden actually knows where Canada is and won't be constantly trying to shove us down a rabbit hole. The biggest issue we have with his politics is that he has already signed an executive order shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline in which Canada has invested millions and many jobs will be lost. There is talk in the background that Canada and the U.S.may develop a joint task force on climate change which might include how we can move forward together to reduce toxins in the atmosphere. Most of us up here welcome the demise of the hated Donald Trump rather hoping that he has finally disappeared up his own backside and maybe in to a jail cell. Canada and the U.S. share the longest undefended border in the world which makes us great partners based on our histories and although it can sometimes be an issue we all welcome the return of some sanity in our nearest and dearest ally.

UK who married Mary Elkins in Baltimore, Maryland.
My wifes ancestry goes back via mother through ELKINS to ABINGDON Maryland in 1732 to a birth of male to "family Elkins" her gran was the last of the [her ] line to hold surname of ELKINS as last generation was all girls and girls dominated all family generations.....
