Britain has given £580 million to the COVAX fund, more than than any of the 179 countries signed up to support poorer countries to source vaccines.
The WHO should get their own house in order, not try & deflect from their woeful performance.
A simple thank you would suffice.

The boss of the World Health Organisation says richer countries like the UK should stop hoarding vaccines and allow health workers in developing nations to become vaccinated quickly. @TomSwarbrick1 asks: what do you make of these comments?

This is the real reason for all these problems and hold ups at the border. What a bunch of tw2ts. However it also tells me they are scared of us doing well. We should now make 'Singapore on the Thames' x10 and give fab rates to companies and investors and watch business leave that crumbling bloc. utter twats!

Brussels ultimatum to ease post-Brexit customs delays

The EU is prepared to ease post-Brexit border friction if Britain drops its plan to create a “Singapore on the Thames”, according to senior diplomatic sources.
Problems and delays at borders are increasingly affecting exports, with fish and meat sellers hit particularly hard.
European diplomatic sources have indicated that Brussels is open to talks on freeing up trade but only if Boris Johnson abandons plans to tear up EU rules such as the working time directive. “Of course we can in future discuss how to have less friction,” a senior European diplomat said.
However, he added: “Discussing further facilitation or ways to reduce friction would depend on what the UK is doing and where they want to go.

Fairly sure this will prove to be a waste of time but for the umpteenth time, actions have consequences. We’re ‘free’ now to do whatever we want which we deem to be in our interests. They are ‘free’ to react to that. We signed an agreement on this to loud cries of victory less than a month ago. We’ve taken back control after all.

Keep cheering for the erosion of workers’ rights though.

I didn't think it would be long before you tried to defend everyone bar this country?
Nigel Farage was right all along. "They act like gangsters in Brussels"
Don't try to defend the indefensible or you will come unstuck like you did the last few days. Business needs to run smoothly (that's how a modern society works). They are deliberately hampering our business to try and break us down. It won't work. We are playing this too nicely. It's about time we now insist on new documentation for German cars/French Wine and Spanish tomatoes... it's only fair as we are 'Free' to make our own changes. let's see how long the locals will put up with that?

Again, being a dopey nationalist about it isn’t helpful.

Yes, we are free to do that assuming we don’t already. It’s not a zero sum game and the more barriers to trade there are the more we both lose. You’re the one that seems to expect us to get special treatment above what we agreed to less than a month ago.

Coming out with dumb rhetoric doesn’t help your case nor does quoting a fascist. Farage was in a hugely influential position to change things if he didn’t agree with them and couldn’t be arsed to turn up for meetings on our behalf.

Once again you can’t answer the question. You always go off topic and bring up your usual “nationalism/facist rhetoric.
Funny you think it’s okay for them to cause problems ( that’s okay in your book) but as soon as someone says “let’s do the same” they are somehow Nationalists/fascist?
So you think it’s okay for them to deliberately cause problems? Is that what you believe?
Truth is Watford if you believe that, then you are more anti-British than I thought.
This is the same EU who wanted to treat us as equal partners and have a close relationship... the same lot who didn’t want to punish friends.
mmm we really need to step up and become Singapore on the Thames now.

If you’d just read the ****ing post properly you wouldn’t misquote me. You’re the one having a go at me for not blindly sticking up for our side rather than calling it how I see it. That is dumb pointless nationalism.

It is “ok” if they’re adhering to the agreement we willingly signed up to. I’m not saying it’s a good thing but then there never has been a mutually beneficial outcome and we’re the far smaller player in this despite the propaganda fed to you for decades.

And Farage is a massive fascist. That’s surely not up for debate. And he did have influence which he didn’t utilise.

Interesting reply. Sadly once again you are wrong. They have decided to treat us badly because we dared leave that crumbling mess of staples. As for adhering to the agreement, already they are starting to add in bits to hurt us. Yet people like you will never go against them? Why will you never once stick up for this country and say 'actually do you know what' Seriously Watford you call people who voted Brexit racist/gammon/Nationalists/drum beating... what do you call someone who is so anti-this country?

If you’re just going to keep on insisting you’re the victim then we aren’t going to get anywhere. Take the win.

For what it’s worth though I think you’re brighter than this. I’d expect this from certain posters despite having gone over it countless times.
