When I was based in Newport, we saved (from being thrown into a skip) an autograph book which commemorated the visit of George and Mary to Dowlais Top in 1911 (I think from memory).

It was presented by the Earl of Bessborough and signed simply Bessborough by him. His wife also signed.

On a separate page, the King and Queen signed.

Thats an amazing find Taff, you really do have a treasure trove of memorabilia

I had it placed in a glass case, affixed to the wall in Reception.

I presume it is still there <cheers>

We also found - so I took it into my possession/safety - a ball autographed by the 1989 All Black squad. I left that there as well.
