You work in the NHS don't you?...if so, then you should get it first.

I do but I'm not patient facing so think I shouldn't be ahead of the clinically vulnerable in the community.

if you get it because of health or being a key worker then that’s cool.

having the jab means that your body will identify and kill it off faster. Meaning even without symptoms you are less of a transmission risk, so getting it protects the vulnerable people, like the flu jab does.

I thought all research said it doesn't affect the transmission risk but just stops you getting unwell from it.

transplant patient. So in the 70-74 group, had a call with consultant and he told me. But it’s now on GP to make sure that’s the case, get my clinical extremely vulnerable letters from them so pretty confident I will.

been in house almost exclusively since March 17th and been out other than supermarket/butchers about 5 times socially.
Loads of solo outings on bike, but **** me I hate to think how mentally the older ones have got on.

There's a lot of people been virtually stuck indoors since March, nowt exclusive about it.

Behave yourself mate. You was listed to go first, so that's what happened. I know what you say about the clinically vulnerable, but there is too much emphasis on it, and tbph, it's starting to fooking annoy me (not you by the way).

If the young and healthy topple over, we all go over, too many people overlook that fact.

Many haven’t followed the rules for staying in, shown in latest figures for infection.

many have had no choice as medical advice has been to shield.

Sounds like you are annoyed at him tbh

<rofl>

I might have it wrong tbf, will look it up at some point.

would say it’s more likely to be me.

key workers and old/clinical vulnerable immunised and then the old/sick clogging up hospitals goes away, so some feel.

free up NHS services to get on with keeping non Covid patients safe/well.

Wot?

Older people that are able should've used some common fooking sense, I saw a very busy doctor shying away from speaking his mind the other day. Fooking hospitals are at bursting point, and I wonder why, well quite simply 'some' of the people in there made some stupid choices over Christmas, because the nanny state didn't tell them not to enjoy Christmas and tbph I'm getting a bit fed up with all this nonsense.

I had to self isolate for a whole month around me going into hospital during covid. I can't go in again until I've been vaccinated. I use my commonsense it's not difficult. It really isn't!
