Just pre-ordered the new Mogwai album, and was having a cruise around to see what else was about, and came across this wee bargain...

WTF!!! Now, I love my music but **** me that's another level - and they have the cheek to try and charge you for delivery on top of that!
The postage for the mods album was nearly the same price as the album
Of course as soon as I had finished paying for it google sent me an ad where I could have got it locally postage free

This and come on die young were the best albums they did. I saw them twice just before the album Mr Beast (i.e only classics) in smallish venues and were absolutely one of the best bands I've ever seen. Saw them again a couple of years ago and they were pretty bad. Still, played Mogwai V Satan off which justified going.

Their early material is pretty phenomenal, but they've progressed as a band and I still like their later stuff. We've seen them a couple of times, two summers back supporting The Cure at the Summer Sessions in Glasgow the last time, and they were superb although their music does really suit smaller venues.

I'm looking forward to the new album, see which direction they've gone in this time.

Welcome to the board! :emoticon-0148-yes:
