I have often felt some of our team just expect to turn up and beat the lower teams, but raise their game for the top teams.
You're all missing the point. We play poorly against mid-table mediocrity. United aren't in form, they've ground out results and have been lucky with VAR and referee decisions going their way. That's why they're above us; we've allowed it. Decisions have gone against us, but our form hasn't helped, either.

Yeah right oh, they’ve won 8 of their last 10 league games, drawing the other 2.
You lot have won 4, drawn 5 and lost 1.
Yet it’s United who aren’t in form, it’s all been about luck and refereeing decisions and you’ve somehow ‘allowed them’ to be above you?
Pure delusion I’m afraid, they’re the form side and they’ve won 7 of their 8 away games so far, with only Lesta taking a point off them. You’re going to have to be at your best to get a result today.

I’ve watched all of Utd’s games and there was a spell in the middle of that run when you can consider yourself fortunate for 3 or 4 games. We had similar last year and City had the year before. Luck is a part of the game. So no complaints from me but it’s good to call you ‘lucky Utd’, mostly because it pi55es you off
That said, winning makes a huge mental difference, as does not winning....but the reality is we haven’t lost many games and at home, our record is immense.
My money is on a draw. If you come at us, we will concede....as will you imo. Should be a cracker. Will probably be a dour 0-0. My money is also on City winning the league btw.....I don’t think we’ll win the league with no CB’s....nor should we.

Yeah, I feel it a bit. Just get the win. As has been stated this one will probably be a bore draw now. Still finding it hard to take that much notice of the footy right now, I'm not really sure they should still be playing really. But then at least they're managing to mostly stay put in the same country, unlike the fiasco that's going on in Australia for the tennis which you just think really shouldn't be happening
There's nothing in form about it when you roll around the pitch like you've been shot and get every decision thrown your way. It's partly our fault because we haven't been savvy enough to do the same. We've pissed about against teams we should have kicked off the park.
Suddenly Pogba is all that, suddenly Solksjaer is the best manager in the world when for most of the season united fans have been calling for his head and wanting Pogba out the door. And how TF you lot have managed to sneak your way into top 5 is another mystery.

According to Clattenburg, we dive as much as Utd. Yet, as I mentioned the other day, we don't get nearly as many pens as they so we must be doing it wrong.
Perhaps instead of a throw-in coach we should have engaged a diving instructor?
