Good article, mostly factual so no subjective opinions needed as when reporting football.
I met James Fox while on a squash club tour to Birmingham a few years ago. He had hair then.
We were "rehydrating", a necessity after a long day on the court and frequented several facilities offering rehydration services along Broad Street (before visiting a club providing more physical services). Anyway, we were in a club called the Living Room where you had to use a lift to get into the club on an upper floor. One of the guys spotted James and went over for a chat. Once he found out we were all from south Wales, and some were City fans, he joined us and paid his way in our drinks rounds. We also got him singing along with some of the tracks where singing along was possible. A good guy, who has survived, despite meeting us, and the problems highlighted in the article.
That night we ended up in a curry house in Dudley at 2.00am. The squash was not of a high standard the next day especially when one guy ran off court several times to throw up and another one actually crapped in his pants on court.
Happy days.
