Match Preview;
Since these two teams met and drew 1-1 in December, Wycombe have won two and lost two...including a win in the cup. Even after beating Cardiff at the end of December, they still sit bottom of the league and 4 points from safety. Scott Kashket is their top scorer with 4 goals, but they have only managed 16 goals so far this season, and they have the worst defence in the division having conceded 35 goals...second in the table of 'most goals conceded are us, having let in 30, but we have scored 22, which still isn't that great really.
However, after last night hope has been re-kindled...Charlie is back and it seemed to lift the whole team. Todd Kane put in a cross that was dangerous, and led to a corner, Dykes looked like he was already forming a good partnership with Austin, and Bonne even chipped in with a goal. The big question is though, will we see more of the same on Saturday. On paper, this is a very winnable game, and one that would could score quite a few in. As always with QPR, it is often the winnable games that we mess up...so we can't be over-confident, and let's hope for a professional job and more of what we saw against Luton.
I'll add team news when/if it goes on the official and others can add what they know...
