As you quite rightly pointed out to me and I agree wholeheartedly, everyone has the right to an opinion.

If I had been any more neutral I would have been invisible.

I have no need to feel wanted or liked, I have real friends and family for that.
As far as I was concerned I was helping out on here nothing more, no "power" trip, no hidden agenda, everything was out in the open.

Personally I hope it stays that way as this is the SAFC supporters board and it should be moderated by Sunderland supporters. <ok>

I did try as I honestly didn't mean to offend him. I guess my time in the forces has given me a think skin which I expect of others.
I'd love to know how a Sunderland fan can be neutral on the Sunderland board. The whole point of being a fan is. Your not bloody neutral.
If a mod is doing his job well he shouldn't be popular. Like the Police. We don't like them but we are damn glad they are there.
And as a last comment (I just can't help myself tonight) Who deleted the thread? AND WHY???

My restraint was something to behold, whilst I was a moderator.
But I don't need to be restrained when responding to tossers like yourself now. <ok>

Like I've said I was talking through a beer haze last night. And yet I never once said you, Syd or any Sunderland mod were doing a bad job.
Just I personally, would prefer neutral mods.

I'm not up with the politics of why you have chosen to stand down as mod, so will not comment on it other than to say that I have always found you a fair-minded poster on the sunderland boards.
My second point is that why the hell do people take Big_ Chris's comments seriously? It is so obvious to me that his remarks are firmly tongue in cheek and should be taken in that context...

Also as a matter of interest I do have a thick skin, but thanks for being so condescending toward me. (What you expect of others! Dear God you must be a wonderful "supervisor" to work for.)

I was neutral, in any moderation decisions I made.

I also don't dislike the police, I do dislike policemen who abuse their authority though.

Syd,no motive whatsoever,i like bbc 606 i think the moderation on that site is fair.But it is closing at the end of the season.I signed up to this site to post to fellow Sunlan supporters and expressing my opinions<ok>

The clue is in the title of this forum. It is not606, so it is unfair to make comparison with BBC 606. There were many issues with 606 that the majority of the members of this site do not wish to see employed here.

not606 will evolve in its own way with the help of us fans. I don't believe that it was ever the intention of the site owner to create a clone of the BBC forum.
