Lee Bowyer says that Doughty’s agent has given CAFC a new 12 hour decline to sell the player.

Or what ??

Bowyer says Doughty won’t be fit to play until the end of February.

Is the agent - Beswick Sports Limited - going to pick up his rehabilitation fees until then?

eh?

“a new 12 hour decline”

I’ve never heard of that before:confused:

Hello all, new here

If we are up to salary cap limit does this mean we cannot add another player unless we send another out? Or add U-21 loan?

Hello mate, yes we can bring in U21s but to bring in other players we will have to shift some out.

Gutted we will loan the little git back ...he wants to go his agent made ultimatums I don’t want him .
He’s going to Stoke big deal loaning him back makes us look like a teeny weeny club.
Doughty saying I started the season at Charlton so would like to complete it with charlton.
That’s nice of him ...patronising little viper .

Can't agree with this. At the end of the day it's just business.

At the moment we are smaller than Stoke. That's the reality of where we are.

If we are getting something in the order of a million plus add-ons and his services for the remainder of the season, which could be an extra edge in a promotion push, I am happy to live with that.

He's going anyway so why not get everything from the situation that we can?

Agree with you that he could have handled it better, and his agent seems to be a bit of a snake.

But I am a pragmatist, I always see what can be got from any situation. No point in cutting the nose to spoil the face, I always think.
