All this butt hurt as you got outplayed and battered by a league 2 side.
Tranmere RovertsThing is @Tobes knows I'm right...
Arsenal, Spuds, Leicester, Southampton, Brighton etc have all built new stadiums. Man City & West Ham have taken advantage of situations local to them and have massively improved their long term prospects...Jeez even Liverpool finally got their act together and re-developed.
Is there a club in the League who've stagnated more than Everton ?

Great News for Everton. I had thought that you had only leased the land from Peel Land and Property (Ports) Ltd, subject to planning permission, but buying it already is quite an achievement and brave before the wholly owned subsidiary developing the stadium has gained planning permission, but good for you guys. We’ve bought the land and appointed Laing O’Rourke, the planning will pass shortly - it’s been delayed by both COVID and us making some changes to the design and resubmitting, funding not an issue.
What’s that key phrase again.......
Oh yeah, shot down in a ball of ****ing flames.

Laing O'Rourke must be pleased that they have now been appointed as design and build contractors before the detailed design has secured planning permission, I had understood that they had been identified as the preferred contractor and were developing the design to achieve planning permission but contracting to pay Laing O'Rourke for the construction estimated to be £500 million ahead of permission to build is again bold and brave.
Oh I agree but not quite the same as owning the land and having a builder under contract.Fairly sure a team deeply embedded within the community will have a decent rapport with the council through the pre-app stage. Nowt bold about it, given it’ll sail through and create thousands of jobs and redevelopment opportunity.

Fiver you're posting the same **** this time next yearyour right. Nothing like an ambitious project that was due to start as a global pandemic hit is going to be easy. But the two blokes behind it are in to make some serious money in the redevelopment associated with the stadium so won’t back away. Usmanov, sorry I mean Moshiri won’t let it fail as he has serious money invested in the return he will get.

Fiver you're posting the same **** this time next year![]()
