Spurs win v Brentford on Tuesday was our 12th game in 40 days. Should have been our 13th but the Fulham game was postponed!
Bet the players wouls rather that than be out of the cups.

You should take a leaf out of our book. After being off for a couple of weeks for Covid the team then took upon themselves to take December off too. Not sure when we're going to start playing again but they must be pretty well rested by now.

But you don't understand, it's Virgil <yikes>

It's funny, we've clearly been so lucky with injuries this season and especially with defenders. Obviously yet to have any players miss any games for any reasons.

Villa to play a youth/U23 side making it harder for Klopp to moan about fixture pile up.

Yeah funny that. Villa close their training ground yesterday due a COVID outbreak, yet have to play their reserves against the ****e today.

City have an unspecified number of positive tests and cancel their game with us, 3hrs before the KO & then reopened their training ground the next day....

Sounds fair.

City put out a strong team against Chelsea days later too.

Villa play Tottenham next week, so will they play kids again or will it get postponed

Could it be to do with the PL and FA cup being different comps therefore they have set different rules?

only way to get through this season, for me is if you have 14 players at your club available it’s game on. It will push the clubs into tightening their dealings with COVID or they will suffer on the pitch.

FA has a problem, I think if they try and punish City their lawyers will just say 'we're following government guidelines' and there will be **** all the FA can do about it.
