And have played at least 2 games (could have been 3) more this season to date than all other PL participants (although for last seasons' PL top 4 they can argue CL effort x 6 >> EL effort x 9) . So I have been whining about what I consider to be poor squad management by Jose (given the resources he has) as opposed to accepting any whining from within Spurs about their unique fixture melee.
It wasn't about you personally but whining PL managers. PL manager are you? I'm talking about Accrington and their fixture schedule and the fact that they don't have the squad that PL clubs have.
The lower league clubs currently have to play at least 10 more domestic games (8 x league, 2 x cup) more per season than at least 70% of PL clubs. So by definition their fixture schedule is always worse, whatever year it is. That a few PL clubs have had to experience a bit of it this season : another reason to be grateful for the state they themselves are in.
Accrington were the club i saw on the report so I used them as the example. As you say, some PL clubs have had a taste of it, the difference of course is that they scream like bitches. Nobody cares about Accrington.
mans got the moral compass of an auschwitz guard but is against money in the game proper odd one sometimes
Its not the oil money... its how its spent. Chavs and city are vulgar clubs. Just threw money at everything til they hit the top and continue to do so. Chavs spent 300m this year. And when it doesn't work they'll sack Frank with a fat pay off, then another phat pay off to another team to take thier manager and then give him another couple hundred million to play with and so on. The Chelsea model. Soz if I think thats not how a club should get to the top.
i get you but there’s not much difference between that and some clubs paying bang average dross almost half a mill a week whilst others have about 70k a week cap etc that bit I don’t get about your outrage
Chelsea are ran like a rich mans project sure And City have spent lots of money, but I don't think City act vulgarly. I think its just bitterness tbh They don't throw managers out for a bad season, even when they spend cash. They dont go raiding other top clubs for the biggest possible names in the game. Some of them city players brits hadnt even heard of before they arrived. They're always linked with lads like Messi, but that type of money has yet to be splashed out on a singular player Gotta defend this as my club could be an oil club
Good thing you’ve been so frugal since the grim old days of spending £35m on Andy Carroll a decade ago.
They have spent about a billion quid on fullbacks, though. Still stick a right-back or a midfielder at left-back, for some reason.
No one over 50m I believe. But let's not forget the 40/50 players bought for or near that sum and we can talk @Welshie
