Ok, this is the last time I am trying this. Cast your little minds way back to when Celtic were still in Europe. Do you think the players etc could just mingle with hotel guests whether that particular country was a "safe" country or not? Or do you think that they had to act in accordance with rules set out by the SFA/SPFL? What you are saying is, because Dubai is "safe" the players would be able to go to nightclubs etc over there and the SFA/SPFL couldn't do anything because Dubai nightclubs are open?
As I remember it, its was up to Uefa not the SPFL to decide on European matches and they determined that the rules would be that of the hosting nations Government.

When players go on international duty they leave their club bubble and enter their international bubble.

Since they are all tested on a regular basis and are proven negative for Covid then they as long as they don't mix with people who haven't been tested and may be covid positive then there isn't a problem.

Football gets to continue because clubs must adhere to strict protocols at ALL times. Thus sitting in a bar in Aberdeen with Joe Public in it is exactly the same as sitting in a bar in Dubai with Joe Public In it. Both contravene aforementioned strict protocols. Those protocols aren't the law of the land, any land. They are the SFA/SPFL/UEFA/FIFA guidelines set down so Football can be played in a safe environment.

Unfortunately they seem to be superceded by the only regulation Timmy seems to care about. The...

Must protect ra Celic regs.

<laugh>
Try reading the protocols and see how strict they are.

The Covid Protocols are universal. They apply to every professional football club and country in the world. That's why International football has been allowed to continue. That's why Euro tournaments have been allowed to continue.

FIFA are ultimately the force behind them. Uefa enforce them in Europe and each FA are supposed to enforce them in individual countries.

Although Governments will have had an input into the structure of those protocols within their jurisdiction they have left football to police them itself. If football clubs rip the pish then Governments will step in and close football down.

Hope this helps.

Unlikely though.

Dubai isn't in Europe

Do you personally agree with them?
It is what it is mate.

It's what they have put in place so Football could get back up and running and all the clubs agreed.

I dare say some of them are a load of shìte but what can you do.

Totally ignore them if you're Celtic it seems.

<laugh>

Hahaha ffs, I know!!! I ****ing knew Dubai as an example would confuse you fenian ****s.

How are things anyway, is big G keeping well?(not that she is big(
Gonna be a granny next month, sat on her arse on full pay ringing 5-7 clients a day for 10 minute calls. Not bad work if you can get it.

It's like this C.

My place has been shut since Boxing day and will now not open until at least February, possibly March because of Covid. So if I've got to live by Covid regulations I don't see why millionaire football stars can't.

So you want football stopped? They already have different rules than us.

I haven't pulled a pint in months mate but I still want to watch football.

Why do you think I want football stopped. Nothing could be further from the truth.
