Would it have killed him to have made the announcement at 4 or 5? I think it's created a bunch of stress and panic (in the short term) that could have been easily avoided. A minor thing in the grand scheme of things.

He blatantly said on the Andrew Marr show on Sunday that there was no issue with the virus spreading to children and schools will stay open, 24 hours later after allowing thousand of kids to potentially spread the virus, he then shuts schools down, causes mass panic around the country. Its pure negligence.

The fact that in Northern Ireland, all teachers had a staff training day yesterday with kids at home and teachers were told to create a months worth of work. Boris gives teachers 12 hours notice in England to prepare work.

Boris knew full well at the weekend, probably even before that he was going to shut everything down. Yet he failed to act.

Create a months worth of work in one day?
<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

I have 6 classes. Over a month that is over 80 hours of lessons. To get a basic (not really a good one) lesson takes around 20 minutes. So that is over 1600 minutes. In a 24 hour day there are 1440 minutes...........

get started then instead of moaning <whistle>

Sounds good mate, are you giving them lessons as part of the fee? The buggy sounds canny, like.
We'll see. Don't want to put the Turkish Pro's nose out of joint. But I guess once the members know an English Pro is a member I might get a few tickles. I'm not gonna rock the boat.

For all the parents who moan I wonder why only 30% of children are turning up for online lessons?! Hmmmmmm

I've had more than half for each of my lessons bit I'm not sure how many of my 6th formers are going to be there this afternoon after the exams cancellation news this morning. Should be interesting.

I spent the first ten minutes of my year 11 class saying " no they haven't said exams are cancelled" then ten minutes after the lesson Gove confirmed they were cancelled. Sometimes I think they are trying to make me look a nob.

Issue is we now have to wait until Wednesday to find out what is replacing exams.

There’s only one area of blame that we are back in lockdown. The feral ****y, cowardly Covidiots. A pathetic excuse for humanity. These ****ers ****ed it up for the majority at a time where a new strain is rampant. Parties galore all across the country over the past month.

I’ll say again... if ****s stayed away from each other... the virus dies off.

Apparently this is not the case at all if we are going to follow the science the government is relying on. I mean they've given no indication how they have decided it, but the government has now stated that the schools and universities are the main source of the spread. Sorry mate but you'll have to redirect this faux rage.

Its ok though you have an easily identifiable target. I'll give you a clue.

They said in September, again in October, again in December, and again on the 3rd January that schools were not the issue and it was fine to crack on

Now you can't just follow the science when it suits you mate, so apologise to those party people right now <laugh> Its the government and the little bastard tykes allegedly.

Mind I thought a study in Australia showed the little ones are terrible carriers so **** knows in reality. I think similar has been shown in South Korea and Iceland studies.
