I was here before most of yer ffs. My profile date is wrong, because the site owner had to rebuild my account. I moved over before the BBC closed.
 
I was actually here in 1987, but Mick ****ed up my date and just randomly chose 24th Jan 2011

There were defo only a few to start with other than what became the GC lot.

I remember Mick had to get bots to generate content in the very early days.

Some guy who lived out in Spain directed me over here (no not NSIS), I'd never heard of the place. I said I'd take a look - he spoke to Mick and got me set up as a mod until Syd left.

I liked Syd. He was a grumpy ****er, but he was fair. He just got exasperated with the place in the end, think he ****ed off to some Sunderland fan forum.

At least you know you're dealing with a bunch of ****s, so you've stuck around <ok>

My bro was (and is) a proper tech nerd. He had a ZX81 when it first came out. 1K

He bought a 16K ram extension pack and we played this game called 3D monster maze. OG stuff that.
 
I joined relatively late then in 2012 with a slightly different user name, which I then couldn’t log in to as forgot their password and ended up creating this account

I wonder how many man hours have been spent on here by the collective PL posters
