@brb i didn’t post a Christmas dinner entry as nearly destroyed the ****ing goose followed a hames Martin goose recipe and the thing looked like charcoal. Thankfully had a professional chef here for Christmas and Boxing Day as the ****er was going to be on his own so invited him. He saved it by make a steam Bath for the ****ing thing and it ended tasting lovely. I’d had like 3 hours sleep and was having one of the worst hangovers I’ve ever suffered. wanted to kill people on Christmas Day.

Glad to know you are ok, you should have posted the pic up, cheer up these miserable fookers.
I didn’t take a photo was too ashamed and in a blind panic. Thankfully the meat was nice and the rest of it amazing. Was just a battle with the hangover. I’d drank a **** load of cocktails and done about 3 bottles of red wine Christmas Eve. Went to bed at 5am and had to get up at 7:30 to take the goose out the fridge and then start cooking at 9. As to James Martin and his glaze which was predominantly honey saying to start it off at 220c for half an hour was just mental. The **** was burnt before it was even cooked.
