Manchester City players returned to training on Wednesday afternoon after receiving no new positive results from their latest Covid-19 tests.
The good news that there have been no further positives means that training can resume without the five players who are self-isolating.
While there are two more rounds of testing planned for this week, the inability to train will all but certainly lead to the postponement of the weekend fixture at Chelsea and raise more doubts about the Carabao Cup semi-final at United on Wednesday.

Exactly, health of that age group is of course critical but there are many people having to go out and work who need to to pay the bills so yeah why not stay out of work a bit longer?
