It’s been a good night for the Graham Potter bet. One home win in 2020. Their fans want him out.

The latest odds.

I’ve just had £15 on Sam Allardyce at 33/1 <yikes>

Thats a massive price for an unpopular character managing a team with an owner notorious for pulling the trigger.

LOyalty is all well and good, but football is football, and Wilder's exit is inevitable unless he turns it round quickly. Allardyce has already lasted longer at WBA than he did at England. How long they give him might depend on the terms of his contract. He must be on a huge bonus to keep them up, but they must have covered themselves if it goes pear-shaped.

Pretty sure WBA will stay up under Allardyce. Bilic would have kept them up anyway.

Question then becomes will the board be content with Big Sam for next season too, when fans are likely to be back and will actually want to see some football being played - or will the board say "thanks for the job done Sam, time to move on".

Their fans want him out big time. Similar situation with what’s happening to us, Vlub legend as a player but now struggling as the manager.

Our fans want Bowyer out big time?
A few dozen noisemakers on forums & social media doesn't represent our entire fanbase.

Next we'll be told the fans want Sandgaard out.

Can anyone actually visualise the Upper North singing We want Bowyer Ahrt We want Bowyer ahrt?
It may or may not happen in the future, but wouldn't be happening now. We'd be a laughing stock. It would be embarrassing. Sandgaard would wonder what he'd bought himself into. Charlton fans are better than that.

Chelsea fans are spoilt muppets.

I know it's nice to vent our frustration on Bowyer, because we all want to see immediate improvements and Charlton back in the 2nd tier, our traditional home. But Charlton fans aren't spoilt, and many I believe will understand the need for patience.
A few months ago I thought Bowyer would have to go if Sandgaard was totally committed to promotion for Charlton this season.
But I appreciate now there is a longer term plan as well.

Right now I think we only have about a 30% chance of going up this season.
That may improve, perhaps even to better than evens, if we buy 2 or 3 decent players in January and ship out five or six useless ones.

But seeing as TS has said only recently he believes LB is the right man for the job, I'm certainly willing to give Bowyer January and the summer window if necessary to get the squad right.

This season is utter sh1te anyway.
No fans at games, unreliable streaming the only option (which many fans have not gone for). Postponements everywhere and everybody stressed out.
Football without fans is plain rubbish, however much Sky wants to pretend otherwise.

By August we should be back at the Valley again, and some of us (God willing) traveling to back the team at away games.
Then we can really show our massive appreciation of Sandgaard, and I hope watch LB take us to the Championsip for a second time.
