These guys are supposed to be my first gig next year (all the ones before have now been moved)....gig is Feb 25th, somehow don't think that will be going ahead just yet. Album is on pre-order (vinyl, of course!)....three singles and an extra in this 30minute set, it's pretty ****ing good so can't wait to see them again....
I've now watched this again, it's magic. The new tune from 24:20 is epic, and will be mindblowing live!

I used to download huge playlists off an Indie music website every month (100+ songs) and would always find some stuff in them that floated my boat, then would look them up on YouTube or try and find if they were gigging local - always plenty of gigs on in Glasgow pre-Lockdown.
Nowadays, Spotify is the place I search - as I spend a lot of time on there it narrows down my searches, and also sends me new releases each week from bands I like, or stuff of similar genres. Then I jump onto YouTube and look for more stuff, and search for gigs. Some gigs I go to cost less than a tenner, some can be up to £60-70. Couple of festivals a year too, so there's always new stuff there.
I'm on the road a lot, which gives me the time to listen to lots, and I have my headphones on walking about the house, watching YouTube, listening to music or playing my vinyl. It's not just me either, both Mrs SM and Jnr are the same - we have some crossover stuff we all like, but also stuff that only one of us like. We gig together, although it can be difficult to decide who is going to which gig if it's something obscure that no-one else likes - but we do have a couple of friends who jump in if it's too random!
In fact, I used to buy indie compilation CDs back in the days before streaming, then go and buy albums of the bands I liked!!

Must have about 15 of these from back in the late 80s...probably where it all started after a bit of Peel in the evenings!
