Definitely grit, yes. I hope to see more of that going forward. The pretty stuff is nice but, in our position, we need grit as well, lots of it.
We ended up with 6 yellow cards to their 3 We only had 36% possession They had 23 attempts/ 9 on target, 12/3 us All in all got to be happy with a point.......
I hope that this is a sign of a team playing in unity for their own pride AND their manager. Let's hope this is the start of a turn around for QPR in 21.
We have done this all season playing great football for one half, but not the other people need to get a grip, wow got a point at Norwich everyone is suddenly happy. BOS misses a goldy could have been better. Ultimately we haven't played a consistent 90minutes all season and that is manager and back rooms responsibility. How many games could we be 2/3 up at half time and are not, why in the 2nd half of these games are we rubbish?
Strange response. Most aren't happy generally with Warburton and the team, but how can you not be happy with tonight's result?
To be honest that is a great point against the runaway leaders. Well done to the defence for putting up some hope. Any team in a relegation battle must have a decent defence - they did well tonight, even if the ref messed up. Forget about all the MW issues for an hour and enjoy us taking points of the yellow budgies who must have been salivating to play us right now. I just hope it is a sign of us turning a corner for once and please please give us a win!
Happy with a point gained. I think most anticipated a tonking. Also very happy that Rangercol is no longer contemplating suicide.
Happy with a point at probably the champions. What did I learn... there is a film called Wonder Woman... I am crap at betting... I owe Watford a £1 or a Pimms that cost £5.
I disagree on the Bright topic. For a few games now, the effort has not been there. You have to see that. He only came alive today after his penalty. Before the penalty, he didn't seem like he wanted to be creative or try anything. His body language wasn't like we have seen when he's been at his best. He's a great player. In his defence, MW has seemed to not play to his strengths recently. However, it's still up to Bright to shake a leg. I do expect more from him.
Had a bet on us to not lose, McLean to get booked, over 5 Rangers corners and Dykes to score at 118/1
Happy Birthday Kiwi. Happy with the point. Not happy with teams below us winning...but most of them still have to go to Norwich....and they won't get a point like we have. Battling performance today. Now need 3 on Saturday
Us not to lose 2/1, McLean to get booked 5/!, Over 5 Rangers corners 2/1, Dykes to score 5/1. 323/1 off the top of my head. Those combination bets are the worst value.
I was looking at the bigger picture and previous posts to previous games. We got a point today against a team where their own posters are saying they are not playing well. Through watching the season we only ever turn up for 45 minutes. That's MWs fault, if u want to feel happy Col then do so, to be fair 2020 has been such a crap year then anything positive is great
13/10, 5/1, 7/4, 3/1 from memory so around 150 off the top of my head but you’re still right. Fun though.
I'd agree that Bright has been off the boil recently, after some stellar performances earlier in the season. But I felt he was asked to play a different game tonight and he stuck to his task well. Sure, he wasn't taking guys on and beating them like he did in earlier games but the opposition are now aware of his strengths and he put in a decent shift without hitting the highs of early season. Mind you, that miss.....
