Set pieces which are disproportionately conceded on our right flank

The solution is to reduce the number of set pieces conceded on our right flank to a more manageable level, not continue conceding the same amount with a different goalkeeper having to deal with them

We’d also likely concede fewer if we stopped trying to sit back after the first 10 minutes of each match. By inviting so much pressure onto us we’re bound to concede by the law of averages from opposition attacks and shots.

I don’t know why we changed our counter attacking system because what we’re doing at present is dreadful. Players also looked ****ed m which is something I’ve been saying would happen for a while when it became obvious they were being overplayed.

As for Lloris, no doubt we need a long term replacement at some point but he’s very low on the list of priorities with regards to replacing/ upgrading. The last year or so he’s been a lot better than he was the previous couple of years. It’s also worth pointing out the quality in front of him has massively depleted which hasn’t helped. Dier isn’t a patch on a prime Vertonghen. Toby isn’t a patch on the Toby of old. Aurier and Doherty aren’t as good as Trippier (pre-final season) and Trippier too isn’t as good as Walker. Reguilon and a prime Rose are probably on a par, Rose was probably a bit more defensively sound but Reguilon has plenty of time to improve there. We no longer have a top four calibre defence and so we’re heavily relying on our elite level attackers in Son and Kane to make up for it along with Hojbjerg to protect them but with Hojbjerg being another who’s being run into the ground, his performances have dropped in the last couple games which hasn’t helped matters.

The squad has been managed incredibly poorly, it’s been the worst aspect of Jose’s management for me and if it doesn’t improve then our results and performances will continue to be poor.

The simple reason is during our matches we regularly have one player babysitting Aurier, and on several occasions two, meaning we regularly have more people covering our RB than we do in the opposition half, so not only are we inviting pressure onto ourselves by sitting back while surrendering the midfield but also advertising to opponents which area we don't feel secure when defending for those who haven't noticed we have not only conceded a disproportionate number of set pieces where our RB should be but also do a bad job of defending them

None of which can be solved by signing a new goalkeeper, as that would be like trying to replace a lightbulb by buying a new washing machine
