I think if football are deemed to be out of control of the virus, which looking at the increased cancellations is the case, then the government should suspend football immediately, otherwise it's not fair on other businesses that spent millions on covid restrictions but still got fooked over by Tier 4 controls.

Like i said, fine in cup games where the only team that suffer is the one at fault.
You can't give one team a 3 point advantage over others for something beyond their control.
