Nah he obviously meant the 'pass' mate .. <laugh>

Yeah he just poked it through your defenders like a proper Sunday League hoof, he’s not got the sort of vision to know where his team mates are at all. I’d be surprised if he finishes the season with any goals or assists tbh.

It's been a bit of a mixed bag for you lot this season. Your home form has been erratic also. It's hard to predict your results tbh.

I just don't see today's result as part of some master plan. I'll give you one simple example. I'm sure Brendan planned for Soyuncu to come on and get some game time today. It didn't happen and that shows it wasn't how he expected the game to go.
We are just too inconsistent and I think we have a ceiling under Brendan which is probably pushing 6th if other sides underperform such as Arsenal this season. Problem being that other side of our level are performing well so there is lots of competition. I can’t see us winning anything or finishing top 4 as the mentality isn’t there. Coming back from behind 3 times in 2 games is positive though as it shows a bit more character.

That must be why he admitted to it being flukey on MOTD then? <laugh>

Watching Leicester today was like watching paint drive dry. Then Vardy came on...

Yes at this stage ... why would you want to give a rival for a top 4 spot 3?
I guess I don’t see Man Utd as our rival, I see us as competing with Everton, Southampton, Wolves, Aston Villa and West Ham for 6th in Arsenal’s absence and points of the board for us is more important

Actually it was two points you missed, but carry on. :cheesy:

I will ... no worries ... we've ended up with 2 points ... the debate was lose against United, beat Palace to get 3 ...that's a one point differential ... guess we'll just have to add maths to your problem areas ... but crack on <laugh>

That's a fair analysis. I'd say you and Aston Villa are very much on a par. With Spurs and Everton I can see all four fighting it out for 5th/6th.

<laugh> great wumming John boy ...but tbf, United could be a top 4 rival this season if the big clubs (such as Arsenal) under perform ... just like us in fact ... let's face it ... they haven't threatened the title for a very long time <whistle>

Maths is not my strong point, but you defo lost 2 points today, and only gained one, against a shhite Palace side, that got thumped by Liverpool 7-0. So they managed to score six more goals than you, and it took your lot 83 minutes of open play to just score one.

I think Villa are quite propped up by the individual brilliance of Grealish and Everton by having a winner as manager. Spurs should be ahead of all 3 but Mourinho is holding them back a bit when he was meant to do the opposite. I think we have quality all round but lack a bit of a spark that could help us kick on. Hopefully with injury problems clearing up it sets us up to have a stronger second help of the season
