Kane goes down too easily. Tierney thought that less contact was a penalty later on VAR, but that's not one, for me.
So we start Sanchez so that there's a pacey CB to cover our routinely-targeted right flank, but as we don't trust Sanchez to start in our regular system, we change the formation and then decide that defending for the entire second half will work out much better than it did against West Scam or Palace

For about the fifth time this season it’s points thrown away again

I'd rather lose going for the win than sit back as soon as we are ahead. This is getting very tedious.

1-1 FT. Totally unambitious performance and we nearly lost it at the death.
The few times when we actually attacked them, we dominated the ball and looked dangerous.

Dreadful we play as if we have no attackers and yet we have two of the best in the world. To be honest I wish we had lost that because to play in this way is a sham of our abilities.

So about how a win would've taken us 3rd just before the teams around us would have started nicking points off each other...
What’s frustrating is watching a team we know can make chances when we throw bodies forward being so negative when protecting a 1 goal lead from the first minute. Not only is it not fun to watch but also it’s a massive tactical risk. We shouldn’t be doing that unless we’re 2/3 up, frankly.
Mourinho has to sort something out here. If we were defensively enough to grind 1-0s out all season and win silverware then I’d accept it for a season or two as that’s ultimately what he’s here to do, but we’re not consistent enough at the back to do that.
The end justifies the means under Mourinho and I embrace that but neither the end or the method is right at the moment and something needs to be addressed.

I promise you I was going to say the same thing even if we had won. But we didn't deserve to win because this style of play is shyte. I know some are happy with this as long as we win but I'm not. This isn't Spurs. Don't get me wrong, a perfectly executed counter attack can be a thing of beauty, but such is the current mindset it doesn't seem like we're even capable of that any more.
