I have just read the Chairmans report as I usually do, and most of the time think that valid topics are bought up and he usually just says what most of us know anyrate. Today however I read about the "boo few" and to be quite honest I am getting tired of it. The people who boo do so for a reason (I'd just like to point out that I NEVER boo!), and that reason is that they are disgruntled with what is being put out in front of them. They don't boo cos they are bored or for a joke - it's because of the crap that is being played out in front of them. We were promised exciting attacking football, we are gonna go for it, is one of the quotes that sticks in my mind. Well I aint seen any sign of it so far - I think it took about 60 mins last Saturday to get the first real attempt on goal. So now we have the chairman and the manager having a go at the fans, when in all fairness they should be looking at themselves in the mirror and deciding where the blame should rest! Don't alienate the fans - Don't patronise the fans - play some football and we will get behind the team. Years and years of promises and false hope which this season was pumped up by the Management to a new level - only to tell us we are wrong because we believed you!! Nuf said!

'Remember, you have the number 12 shirt for a reason, please don't forget that.'

This guy's a joke.....I have a laugh with "gasheads" but what does he think YOU fans have been doing for the last 2 seasons...

You hear that and then you read Buckle saying in the BEP...." "I speak to other professionals in the game and they are telling me not to be too hard on myself because this might be a year for sorting things out. We have taken something over and brought in 17 new players and that's an awful lot of change.

You blue few really need to be patient and do as you are told, the suits know best......(I thought I'd better add,I'm not wumming..I agree with Rhinestone)

Rhine, I have been saying for ages that the excuses of us booing makes the team play poor is ridiculous. Fans dont boo for no reason as you said yourself. We were very happy early on in the season with some good football being played, even when losing. What happened? Buckle suddenly went all defensive and now we play hoof ball with little end product. Buckle needs to grow some balls, and either get this team going, or get going himself. This isn't Torquay we are talking about (No disrespect).

Agree with all the above. I don't boo but I feel strongly that Buckle has led us up the garden path and is now wriggling
to escape the hype he generated when he arrived.
Perhaps if Higgs and Buckle paid for their tickets and pies they'd feel differently !

I`ve never booed the team once ever but don`t knock those that do. You pay your money you get your say. If things go on getting worse and we`re in the **** in the new year then as far as I`m concerned both the manager and the chairman can **** off.

Only if the performance is poor and it's hoofball with a lack of commitment.
There won't be booing if the team loses but puts in the effort.
I'm afraid some of the booing is directed at Buckle who must be setting some
sort of record for alienating fans in the shortest possible time.

We have not dominated a home game in the last 3 years (i'm sure there is one!) Other teams always seem to have a better midfield and this season there is no change.

Now some of you will not like what i am about to write. SC has been a fantastic servant to our club and will always be loved for his total commitment and 100% effort. Unfortunately in my opinion SC is no more than average footballer, he will break up play for you but his distribution and eye for a side splitting pass is lacking, unfortunately he now has Stanley with him which makes things twice as bad. If we wish to use wingers in Muzzy and Joe then thats fine but the middle two has to find them with a decent pass. A weak midfield will always put pressure on your back 4 and this and this unfortunately is all to evident. The difficulty we now have is an arrogant manager that has brought in the likes of Stanley and Zeb and will play them no matter what. Zeb, i will say tries his heart out but his first touch is awful and lets him down.

Wayne Brown if not injured needs to have one of the central midfield roles with Gill if not injured both who can drive forward and get you goal which is always needed from your midfield.

As for our Chairman he has a duty to stand by his manager but i think he is better off saying nothing rather than pissing off the fans even more. what we have been dished up in the last two home games deserved to be booed.

I myself do not boo, i go home and kick **** out the wife!!

When Buckle plays Zebroski all the time even when he plays poorly (which in fairness is most of the time) this is bit like when Gary Johnson use to play Lee Johnson all the time because he's his son didn't matter if he he was ****e or not, Zeb and Buckle are obviously best pals hence why he plays all the time, strange how Smith was dopped after the one mistake he made against Torquay.

I agree that SC is no more than average midfielder. He gets stuck in and does some of the dirty work but im afraid we need more from a midfielder than that. He is getting on as well. Lines didnt do much in most games, but when he did do something, it was usually a little bit of brilliance. I haven't seen a little but of brilliance from Campbell since belted in that thunderbolt from 40 yards all them years ago. Buckles signings haven't been brilliant I must say. Bevan makes me nervous, great shot stopper, but flaps just like Phillips. Virgo IMO is ****, Zebra works hard but doesnt do much in a game, Gill is injury prone and hasn't had a good game since the opener against the Dons. Stanley is hit and miss, Mcgleish hasn't played up front in ages and he doesnt give the kids a go, which looked promising in pre season. He has had a few gems though...Harrold is brilliant, Brown is brilliant and Anyinsah (when he is fit!) is brilliant. Carayol looks good when played on the LEFT. Buckle is just as bad for playing players out of position as Trolls was. 2 CB's and a stiker needed NOW Buckle!
