It will, but it will be harder for students to study abroad, theoretically, but I actually doubt students in the future will ever notice this difference. The biggest difference will be the points based immigration system, British people will also find it a lot harder to move to the EU, having a job before you move might become more necessary, unless you're a key worker of course. My cousin is completely unqualified for childcare and is set to move to San Francisco to work as a nanny for an American couple. We ain't got a complex open trade agreement with the US. The logic that it will now make moving abroad impossible is a myth to be frank.

I'm glad it's almost all over. I see the fishermen are delighted with the deal . Just the renegotiation in 4 years time to look forward to; oh, and the general election at the same time
I think the deal was the likeliest outcome and probably the best both sides can hope for, but the Europeans appear to be more frustrated by the conclusion than the British side. Which Boris will of course take as a victory. The biggest change being that the Europeans were the more content with May's deal, than the British were, on a political level it is a victory for Johnson. I've felt, living here as opposed to the UK, that a big fear for the EU was having a second major competitor with a chip on its shoulder alongside Russia, one to its East and the new one to it's West. The best solution for them was simply concluding talks with the UK in a positive manner. The pro-EU papers are absolutely fizzing, talking about European history and how **** the UK is in every single aspect from the date of 1066 onwards, so on that basis the UK obviously won.
