Poor bloke's career really is going down the pan... <whistle>

Apparently he's well out of favour at Inter and they are looking to loan him out in Jan

Quality player, as you know. Don't know if he'd come to us, but he could certainly do a job linking up the play with Pepe, Laca, Saka and Aubameyang.

Yeah Conte don't like him.

Looking at the way Inter play, it was probably silly of Eriksen to join them as they don't play with a number ten playmaker.

If he does join you lot it'll be disappointing to see from a Spurs fan perspective as he's one of my favourites and best to have played for us in the Prem but that'll diminish the moment he sticks an Arsenal shirt on. Having said that, it does depend on what Eriksen you get. The first five and a half years Spurs version is phenomenal, the last twelve months Spurs version and you're better off bringing Ozil back in from the cold to save paying out on two playmakers wages that won't do much.

Yeah he looks like the sort of player who can down tools if he ain't happy. We don't need any more like that, like you say we've got Ozil sitting on his arse collecting £350k already. I don't honestly think it will happen, mainly because of his Spurs links. But he is a quality player who knows the prem. As **** as we are right now, we're always going to be a pull for players and **** knows we love a loan deal <laugh>

To be fair I don't think he deliberately downed tools, he was a model pro at Spurs but something just switched off with him towards the end of the 18/19 season and then up until he left mid way through the 19/20 season. The last few months especially were a painful watch, looked a shadow of the player when he played.

I'd be surprised if he did join you though, not just due to the rivalry but because a reason for leaving us was because he wanted a new challenge in a different country. Everyone knows he wanted to go Madrid and it looked like it'd happen a couple times until Zidane changed his mind but when that didn't materialise he took the Inter deal. Probably would've been better from his perspective to have stayed with us til the end of the season where he would've been a free agent and then he likely would've had a ton of options.

If Artita has any sense he should roll out the barrel for James Tarkowski in January ... you have plenty of show ponies but you need a shire horse, or two ...

Eriksen and Alli both up for sale. Sad state of affairs.

One will end up at City in January. Desperate times for Pep.

We’ll sell Pogba, miss out on Camavinga and end up signing Fendico Hazuano from Sporting Club De Nacional Columbiana Segunda Victoria cos he’ll be ace in 6 years.

When players down tools for a long period of time I think it affects them and the momentum they have. Like Sanchez he downed tools with us but was never able to switch it back on. Eriksen may suffer the same imo
