No, won't be getting hammered, going for a longer run tomorrow. Although the mulled cider is moreish as ****!
Chilli is better if you cook it day before. All the flavours infuse.
Talking of tomorrow, most pf our 'traditions' are out the window this year.
Usually walk on the beach and then a pub meal and back to ours for drinks etc.
This year I'll be going for a run ffs.
Will still have a walk on the beach, , with a flask of mulled cider, but the evening is Mexican themed for some reason so chilli's with tacos, burritos etc.
Still drinks. Lots of that.

Eldest (3 1/2 years old) has been doing my head in about Santa today since she finished nursery so I gave her alphabet bites for dinner and spelled ‘****’ in hers. She knows the letters but not the word so I got away with it. It’s the small wins.

I used to be pretty good at it years ago, I remember when the kids were young it was like a military operation and iirc pretty painless.
As I’ve got older I’ve become truly **** at it, and I only wrap the stuff for the Mrs as opposed to sacks full of stuff, I don’t get it. I think it must be a sub conscious thing, as it’s the most futile thing ever, as it’s just ripped off. So my mind is just saying **** this ****, just crumple the ends up, **** it.
What makes it worse, is that my Mrs wraps stuff like it’s an art form, with curly ribbons the lot. Then I give her some incredibly badly wrapped things with bits of cellotape sticking out.

Christmas officially comes tomorrow in our house, so Merry Xmas to all you motherfuckers. I hope you and all of your families enjoy it as much as possible, stay safe and keep your heads down, there will be an end to all of this.
Funny bunch on here, but this place has been a place to come and chat and have a laugh, in what has been a ****ing depressing year. I’d imagine for some of us, it’s been a welcome break to have people to talk to, even if it’s beef and handbags. Keep it coming I say!

Got 2 of my 3 coming tomorrow, COIVD tests in hand lol. Can’t wait to see them, I’ve missed them so much this year, as we’ve barely seen each other. Enjoy them while they’re the age yours are bro, before you know it they’ll be 25........
