i wouldn't stick the knife in, he could turn out well. He just has a little black mark against him with the whole badge grab/kiss when he scored at Goodison for you guys. If Pep is praising him then that's good enough, but at the moment he is having a rough time. Backed to clear out the dross and I think he will do well building Arsenal back up-have some cracking younger players
I don’t get the Arteta love in by the Goonz...he played and scored more for Everton anyway. I think they just wanted to attach themselves ASAP to the next Pep and it’s gone tits up he’s bang average has no credentials for the job but the Goonz once again showing their small club mentality which is being compounded by the fact that they are still latching onto him as he sleepwalks them to relegation. his record is worse than Unai Emery’s They seem to have an issue with folk of Turkish heritage it seems
It’s a results business so he needs to turn it around and fast. He’s in at the deep end no doubt. The club need to back him with some dosh and a massive clear out. I’d rather just accept that we’re going to be midtable for a couple of seasons and allow him to build a team in his own mould, rather than trying to get this cobble of ****e to perform.
@Big Ern a bit late mate but unlucky on monday. Surprised we came away with the 3 points you boys were all over us. I must say Declan rice has really come on, i didn't think he was that good before but he was proper bossing the midfield.
Yeh but he didn't think it through ... one fortune cookie that much bigger than the others is way too conspicuous ...
No need. Since coronavirus hit my cousins have made billions and i'm just sponging off them right now
Yeah, his tackling, passing and attitude are superb, if he added some goals to his resume he'd probably be the best CM in England. I think he played better, but looked worse, last season, as he had utter dross around him, Soucek has taken a lot of the overload off him so he doesn;t have to hold the midfield on his own anymore. Most fans want him as club captain until he retires, but sadly I think we have to sell him so we can buy a LB, striker a CM & a replacement. I'll be disappointed if he goes for less than £100m, but £80m seems to be the figure touted.
This takeover will get the green light aftr arbitration , but we're going to be in serious relegation trouble by then, so nothing will happen unless by some miracle we stay up. Oh and yeah Everton I really fancy to win the Cup
Should be an easy Spurs win this one. Question is...why do I get the feeling they might struggle but eventually go through on pens or something ?
