If Maxi is in France then he won't be back for a while. Eurostar closed, PO Ferries stopped. Countries closing down in EU. Airports affected. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he's gone by end of Jan.

I only want players who are committed. If his bottle has gone then he can piss off.

Worked out well when Souness took thst approach with our best players.

It's an old British managers mentality to durst make them unhappy and then get rid when they confront you.

Poor management.

Anyway we don't know what's really going on and he's just sick apparently.

I don’t trust Bruce

I don't see how anyone can blame Max when our win rate was so much higher whenever he played. This all comes down to the manager, any talented attacking player would become despondent with such a negative approach to every single game, and then to be criticised by the manager when it's his setup and lack of ability that's causing the issues in the first place.

If he or Almiron leaves in January I won't hold it against them.

Anyone with any quality will leave ASAP.. They don't want to play defense vs attack and hold up play...

I mean I know there's people think they should play for the badge, but get real they're human beings and if they're unhappy in life they'll go somewhere else.

With a manager like Bruce you'll eventually end up with squad full of players that's are just too happy to be at the club

From BBC website ...

Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin and captain Jamaal Lascelles are both suffering from the long-term effects of coronavirus and it is not known when they will return.
The pair were among several players to have contracted the virus when an outbreak hit the club earlier this month.

That forced the postponement of Newcastle's game against Aston Villa and the training ground was closed for over a week.
Manager Steve Bruce said on Friday that two of his players had suffered "damaging effects" of the virus and had been "struggling for a while with it".

At that point, the club had not named the players in question.
But after reports emerged on Monday that the players had fallen out with Bruce, the club clarified the reason for their recent absence.

Oh dear. This is developing legs...

"Live in 30 minutes as I am hearing so much stupidity (bullshit.)
