Worse than dropping points, it was such a passive performance. Liverpool have shown how to deal with the likes of Palace.
Guaita was MOTM in our game with Palace, despite his glaring error for our goal. He saved one shot today. I didn't watch it, so I can't comment on performances, but people are getting very worked up about a result against an erratic team.
Mike feckin' Deane + VAR helping Citeh out. Soton have bossed it and been denied 2 pretty obvious penalties.
Yes, Cp were on top of their game last week. This week they were rubbish. It cannot be the calibre of the teams that caused them to be erratic. I think they treated Spurs as a "London Derby" whereas they probably were resigned to losing against Liverpool. Thus their mentality changed between playing with Spurs and Liverpool.
Specifically, our performance We're simply not capable of sitting on a 1-0 lead for 60+ minutes (or a 3-0 lead, apparently...) because we can't deal with set pieces, which is a problem when there's a decent chance we'll concede a set piece in a difficult area due to a combination of having the RB in a free role meaning they're out of position and the CM covering them not being the most reliable defensively And that's the issue: the RB could be Aurier or Doherty, and the CM could be Sissoko or Lo Celso or Winks, yet the results are the same either way
One pt per game is relegation form. With a squad that has been light years from ever being in such a scrap.
I bet Arteta is pleased that London is in Tier 4, l'arse can't get a new manager in for at least 14 days.
We're the most hated club in London mate so we won't be short of options! You ain't going down though so don't worry.
Also, there's a pretty decent selection of unlikable teams wearing red in the Premier League regardless...
