Can I ask, why would you want to join a country thats bordering on being a third world country.
Your living standards will fall.
PS I support a united Ireland.

I see that you didnt challenge my notion that a supranational organisation paying grants to businesses to move these businesses to a different country isn't capitalism as you claimed. Does that mean you accept I am right about that? If not, can you explain why I am wrong?

"I thought you didn't want EU peeps to come over here? Make your mind up ffs."
You got that wrong then. I've never said that. I do think we should control our own borders and decide who we want to enter the country.
"1. We give the EU money to be part of the club"
We dont want to be part of the club especially if it involves giving the EU money so they can give the money to businesses to close down in the UK and move the factory to these other countries.
"2. We make more money as a country being part of that club"
No we don't. This "club" puts up protectionist barriers to protect inefficient French farmers and increase the price of imports from the rest of the world.
"do you think the economy will do well peter?"
Obviously Covid is gong to affect the economy but in the medium term I think the economy will do better.
Fair enough. But the majority of NI dont want that. Even the Republic don't want that because they couldn't afford it.No, I want a United Ireland.
No, I'm going to blame Covid for the effects of Covid. So you're going to blame Covid for the economy tanking due to Brexit and BoJo's crew of incompetent twats?
As I said earlier, check the state of the UK economy before and after we joined the EU. Check what happened when you lot decided to vote out. Being in the EU makes us richer and reduces the cost of living.
No, I'm going to blame Covid for the effects of Covid.
Just because something happens all the time doesnt mean it's capitalism. The 'capitalist' side is businesses moving their sites to locations with cheaper labour/grants/tax breaks. Happens all the time. The EU isn't conspiring vs the UK ffs
Do you think only businesses located in the UK move to different countries with the help of EU grants? Do you think the EU randomly contact businesses, or do you think the businesses contact the EU?
The grants are there because the whole aim of the EU is to standardise the cost of living over the continent, which would gradually remove the need for people to travel. This is by dragging the poorer countries up, rather than knocking the quality of life of richer countries. Check our GDP since joining.

If there's an effect of Brexit I will of course give Brexit the credit for the improvements caused by Brexit. But not Brexit for the effects of Brexit?

That's not capitalism.
Capitalism - an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.
These Nigels actually think without them we would all be fùcked. The cùnts have regressed to Dickensian times. No, I want a United Ireland.

Yes. None of that makes it capitalism if it's due to state, or suprastate, intervention. And would they not make more profit from moving to cheaper locations + grant money?
No, I support Brexit because, in my view, it is better for the country. So you'll blindly support Brexit at any cost?
What country? No, I support Brexit because, in my view, it is better for the country.
