Barnsley Away

Its about time the price for a Away fan was a set price for every Away team, Am I right when it has to be the same price as the cheapest for home fans!
The cheapest for home fans is also £30 in less your a member of the 1912 Oackwell Club and then its £25.

due to the low distance, and lack of need for a hotel room etc..it will still work out one of the cheapest away games of the season..for example brighton will cost around me 170 quid all in,..no excuse to not go really..

I think I'll stick with the trains, I would prefer a bit of freedom when I go to matches and some of the journey times on coaches are ridiculous (9 1/2 hours to Brighton with National Express :O )

lol. no chance. i remember 2 trips with that man and never again. jeez, what a mistaker-2-maker.

no this guy runs proper trips for all age groups and so forth. his coaches are also road worthy.

Ah Simon Gray's coaches, i remember them well - see him around the ground from time to time and he looks exactly the same as he did 20 odd years ago

170quid just for you ? jeeez. what type of gas guzzler do you drive ? my group is doing it in a day due to the late kick off and quiet roads on the way back. match ticket £24 and fuel will be £50 each = total cost £74 per person. i can also add on another tenner to cover match programme and a pie/drink @ half time. but yes you make a fair point on the barnsley cost overall but the match ticket is very much a rip off on us.

lol. just wished i'd stayed away from his bone shakers. he should have given out crash helmets and neck bracies. lol.

I expect the Brighton trip to cost me over £500 and that doesn't include my missus shopping in Brighton on Sunday. <yikes>

assume that you are taking your bank manager with you OR do you have a very flexible friend in your wallet ? :emoticon-0112-wonde

as for your missus shopping in Brighton on Sunday, well i hope that you have some pain relief with you.

Tickets £60, Hotel £200, Petrol £130 and the rest on food/drink(probably more on drink than food, but if I drag my missus all the way to the south coast for a football match, I have to dine somewhere half decent). <ok>

Wow !!! £200 nicker on the hotel, where you staying???

Your lady wife is a very lucky lady !!!

5 of us have booked a slightly less salubrious B&B than Lammy, and our costs are:
Ticket £24, Petrol £17 (£85/5), B&B £47,
Plus beer, beer, curry, beer, beer, beer, casino, beer
So, yeah reckon £500 should cover it

why waste £47 quid on a B+B ? just slum it in the car and have some more beer <cheers><cheers>

staying overnight, so will be 50 quid hotel, plus 100/150 quid night out, depending on the quality of the local strip clubs <laugh>
maybe not quite a fair football match comparison i admit..

Hows the guitar anyways still jamming?

The axe is still seeing plenty of action, thanks.

Things generally are not running as smoothly as normal, so if anyone wants a couple of guitars, a Mini, a flat in London or any other stuff I barely use, then let me know. <ok>
