Can't wait to see how **** up things get in schools after xmas.
My teen beast has been made to self isolate twice in 7 weeks cos of outbreaks at her 6th form ffs.
I am actually feeling a bit stressed about wtf we'll be facing when we return in January ... have very little faith that many plan on being sensible and safe tbh.

At least your 6th form kid knows a bit about social distance. My 6 year old, god help me!!

I do feel a bit sorry for the hospitality trade tbf like. As many of them spent thousands preparing their premises for COVID safe openings, and they’re all forced to shut the doors, whilst shops are bustling with people doing their Christmas shopping. The evidence seems to point at this being the main point of current transmission. I suppose it’s another case of the few ruining it for the many, as they won’t want to see reruns of the ‘parties in the streets’ after the boozers shut, as for every conscientious landlord ensuring booked tables and food served etc, there’d no doubt be another one happy to lob a scotch egg in for free if you order 4 points of beater,

my daughter can go to Primark but can’t go to a gallery

Greenwich council tried to close the schools a few days early, at a point in the term kids will be doing **** all. Government have overruled it so now they’re open. Bit odd when they’re trying to shut down the most obvious route of spread in one of the worst hit parts of the country.

See big al sugar has lost a family member to covid. Just a few short hours after he linked the death of GH to some comment on Pieres Morgan.

Man is a horrible ****, one who said that people should get back to work, covid wasn't that dangerous. Hope the **** coughs himself inside out

No Real care for him or Trump, both love the sound of their own voices and would happily see either die a horrible covid related death. His comments yesterday on GH and linking it on his long running Morgan feud was another example of his level of **** behavior

The majority who don't always like the measures but still abide by them. Yes a minority would have ignored it but the message would've been quite clear not to. In contrast by saying you can go mix households for 5 days, you're encouraging it.

If that was actually the case, fair enough, but it isn't.

Anyone who bothers to look at what can and can't be done will see it's three households can form a bubble.

It's not as many as possible in a Christmas party free for all, as is being generally implied.

The biggest problem here will be the usual; the rules aren't deemed clear and then people will misinterpret (ignore) them. Which they would have anyway if they'd be told the above wasn't allowed.

A major, major problem in all this will be the travel window has been compressed. I said this at the time, it's a ridiculous idea to tell the country's population that they have essentially two days to traverse the country; out on one day, back on the other.

Not gonna cause problems that is it, no sir.
