You don't believe "scare stories"....my industry is in limbo as no-one wants to commit to anything until a deal has either been struck or is totally out of the water. With the governments U turn on Huawei, we're at the mercy of Sweden (Ericsson) and Finland (Nokia) and their supply lines, and are already facing import issues resulting in massive empty spaces in my work diary. All the talk is of work re-starting in late February once the operators have established what tariffs they will have to pay on getting new equipment into the country and how this will impact their costs. Personally, for me, it's a ****ing disaster
think about the overtime in catch up work

So it's the transition and uncertainty that's messing you up, not the decision to no deal

Mind boggles as to how anyone can still be behind Brexit. Surely this isn't what anyone wanted? Oh I remember now a lot of folk didn't even know what they wanted. How is anyone content with how its panned out?

I will also never, ever understand why we didn't take the opportunity to put the brakes on so we could deal with the small matter of a global ****ing pandemic thats already doing a fine job of destroying the economy.

A Brexit that is genuinely beneficial to us is clearly unachievable.

Brexit would be bad enough on its own ... add a pandemic into the equation and it's a double whammy! Still go for it though?

Of course I do. We're the fifth/sixth largest economy in the world, and we won't be bossed about by the EU and have to obey the rules they create for eternity. A deal that suits both parties is highly desirable. If not, it's WTO. I don't believe the scare stories that we'll all die, just as I didn't believe the scare stories that we'd be bankrupt within 6 months of leaving the EU or cause WW3.

If you don't understand that, you don't understand why the majority of the voting public voted for Brexit.
I thought you were a bit more widely read than I gave you credit for. Apparently not. Jacob Rees Mogg's line obviously seeped into your consciousness and acts like a vaccine to prevent infection by any correct meaning of the term 'vassal state'. Look it up and tell me how the bastardised version of the Brexit interpretation can possibly be accurate. It's as much nonsense as Bojo's articles about bendy bananas.

This in spuds, turds, whatever the word is. I have been wondering the exact same. Brexit for me has always been a wholly stupid, unnecessary idea. To even consider implementing it now in this global Pandemic is unbelievably irresponsible.

Have you considered believing a bit harder?

Just that attitude you display to the working class in the North, Watford, is part of Labour's problem. Do yourself a favour and buy this book for Christmas, written by a trade union activist:

QPR are the problem. Certainly were for us. You should’ve had 3 points.

Andrew Marr posing the question this morning....
"Will we still be able to get our Parma Ham, Cheese and Wine, like we're ALL used to"?

****'s sake.
A perfect example of the Islington elite and BBC simply not getting it.

I’m sure the Islington thing is a massive social experiment in how long it takes to get every right wing noddy parroting the same phrase. Did Islington suddenly get a lot nicer?

Hate to say it Col. The world has moved on from the days of Spam and fish paste sandwiches. Doubt there are many who still only eat Cheddar cheese and don't touch garlic
